Ali Gökkurt obtained his B.Sc. in Industrial Design from Istanbul Technical University in 2005 and after his graduation he served his military duty. In 2006, in order to practice his profession he started to work as a Design Officer at MAKEL Electric Supplies and in 2010 after being promoted to Design Supervisor; he quit his job to take part in academia. In addition to this, he received his M. Sc. Degree in Engineering Design (2013) of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and then he has been accepted to the PHD program in Department of Industrial Design at Istanbul Technical University. During his study, he worked as a Research Assistant from 2010 to 2015 at the Faculty of Architecture Department of Industrial Design at Istanbul Technical University.
