Elif Aktaş Yanaş
She received his bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture with honors in 2011 from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Interior Architecture. During the 2010-2011 Fall semester she studied at Politecnico di Milano Facoltà Del Design as an Erasmus exchange student. She received her MSc. Degree in Architectural Design Computing Program in ITU with the thesis titled “Translating Intuitive Aspects of Conceptual Models into the Digital Realm”, which she conducted with the consultancy of Prof. Dr. Mine ÖZKAR. She worked as a research assistant at Karadeniz Technical University between 2014-2017. She also worked in various architectural offices in design and construction department. She is currently a Ph.D. student at KTU Architecture Department. Her interests include cognitive processes in architectural design, computational design approaches and digital production / fabrication issues.
