OzU / İID hosts World Design Talks Istanbul in collaboration with World Design Organization (ICSID).
On 24 June 2016 at ATÖLYE, OzU / İID has hosted the World Design Talks Istanbul in collaboration with World Design Organization, formerly known as ICSID, under the title of "Urban Mobility: Traffic Congestion". The event is the first of World Design Talks series and has been kindly supported by the Turkish Federation of Furniture Business Associations (MOSFED). The participants included ICSID Board Members, design academics, independent designers who gathered at the event to identify existing problems and to propose solutions to Istanbul's traffic congestion. The aim of the event was to engage local design communities during the process of identifying a local problem with global relevance, so that the knowledge produced at the event could be further used in other regions of the world.
